This year, the annually updated solo exhibition shows, in Sala Rotary I, the large twelve piece graphic “DOGS IN TOWN”. Apart from graphics, the “STONY DOGS” are presented in Sala Rotary II. Graphics are done by mixing techniques, sometimes matched with collage techniques. After being scanned, they are printed in an elaborate procedure and presented as “POSTER GRAPHICS”. By the “Stony Dogs”, Gabriele Kromer entered a new terrain quite different from graphics. She uses untreated stones to create dog images, each of them an individual character. The latest of it is “Manche Hunde fliegen” (“Some dogs fly”), which was published in 2017 by Strube Publishing House, Munich (ISBN 978-3-89912-202-2). The graphics have been shown in a number of solo art exhibitions. The author and critic Gerd Zahner said: „The pictures are like a bridge that ends in the middle of the river, and you start to fly …”
