The tiny picturesque islet of San. Giovanni, the thirty-year summer residence of the renowned
conductor Arthur Toscanini, closely faces the Grand Hotel Majestic making the perfectly landscaped
English style hotel gardens very unique. The hotels incomparable architectural dignity,
grand frescoed rooms magnificently preserves the charm and grandeur of a hotel of
La Belle Époque.
The hotel offers a choice of four distinguished rooms for weddings, each with its own individual
haracter, beautiful fine antique rooms with inspirational views of the lake making it the
ultimate setting for that special day.
The Toscanini Room, frescoed at the end of 1800's by Moretti Foggia and
Ferrero, 275 m² open space and 240 seating. An excellent choice for a banquet, blending
comfort and ambience in abundance.
The Intra Room, named after the nearby town of Intra because of its particular
position, facing in the direction of the town. It has 150 m² of open space and seats up to 140
people. Located in front of a large terrace this room is a real taste of beauty. Ideal for an
outdoor aperitif.
The Rossini Room: Spacious, luminous with large windows overlooking the
splendid gardens with a spectacular view of the lake and its surroundings. It can be set up
for 160 people.
The Rotary Room: A perfect choice for a more intimate wedding. Peeping out from
under a loggia opening onto the magnificent gardens, preluding the lake. It can host up to 84
people.
